A Tale of Art in London

When I was selected to showcase my art in London for the 10th Anniversary of Flux Exhibition from the 7th until the 10th of December 2023, I was so excited to participate in this collective exhibition to celebrate art at 178 St James, Piccadilly in London. I will showcase my artwork with artists whose creative passion contributes to the art world and expresses our unique way of being in this world while celebrating our common humanity.

As part of this grand celebration organized by Lisa Gray, the founder of Flux Exhibition, I will be showcasing three pieces of the Voice of Nature Series. In this case, it is about the Voices of Nature in Harmony with Human Nature embodied by the beauty of flowers and the beauty of human nature. I was influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, a group of artists in the Victorian era who produced thoroughly good pictures. What resonated most with me was that they rebelled against the standard teachings of the Royal Academy.

In my own way, I am a rebel when I cross the boundaries between photography and painting, breaking all the rules of standard photography, especially when I fuse images and add oil paint to my images that are printed on canvas. I create a world of dreams beyond photography whereby a fusion of images together with that of colour brings a world of fantasy where our humanity lives in harmony with that of the natural world.
