I arrived in Dubai yesterday after a long flight from London and was struck with panic when my luggage didn't show up, hence my artwork for World Art Dubai was also missing. I went to see a representative from Emirates Airlines who was the kindest whose patience and professionalism put me at ease as well as the staff at the hotel. I received my luggage, as promised, this morning and I was able to deliver my art pieces at the World Trade Centre where World Art Dubai takes place. On my way back to the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to see an International Women's Day celebration on the 49th floor of the Voco Hotel where I had lunch at the Window's Bar. After walking into a man's world through the huge halls of the World Trade Centre, this celebration was a breath of fresh air for women all over the world.
