As an artist I find inspiration in the natural world for my creativity resonates with its harmony, which is why I fell in love with Lake Como. As 19th-century American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote after a visit to Lake Como: “Is there a land of such supreme and perfect beauty anywhere?”. The area inspired Hungarian composer Franz Liszt to declare, “When you write the story of two happy lovers, let the story be set on the banks of Lake Como.”
The series I created is not only about beauty but also about love for I sincerely believe that without love, one cannot survive nor humanity. And I am not only referring to romantic love - there are many ways to love and it all starts with an appreciation of life, the natural world and humanity.
