The Art Murals project started when my dear friend and collaborator since 2004, Patrick Pépin, suggested that my art would be suitable for murals. After a series of in-depth tests, Patrick and his partner, Esther Pichette, selected nine pieces from my art collections to be part of the WYNIL WALL YOU NEED IS LOVE Mural Collections.
Patrick, the founder and owner of WYNIL, comes from a family of entrepreneurs. The Pépin flagship is established in Old Montreal, where one has the impression of being somewhere in Europe with its narrow cobblestone streets full of lively restaurants, charming shops and cafes. Patrick is a behind-the-scene type of boss whose cool, calm and collected disposition creates a creative environment with his dedicated and talented creative team. Patrick's partner-in-crime, Esther, has the energy of a lioness in the jungle. She's a force to be reckoned with. Last but not least, Sophie who is the gatekeeper, makes sure that all is running smoothly in the shop while her brother, Serge, ensures the precise measurements and special care of the final products.
It therefore gives me great pleasure to officially introduce the Art Mural Project Made with Love in Montreal by WYNIL, together with a group of Representatives from New York, California, Amsterdam, London and Lake Como. The Nature & Art Collection is designed to bring a sense of style where art meets nature to both private & commercial projects and is custom-printed on non-woven mat stucco effect wallpaper.
