''For the Zeus archetype, whose primary meaning comes through establishing a realm, marriage is also a means through which alliances are made and power is consolidated. Royal marriages were arranged by prime ministers. Patriarchal marriages in all cultures are alliances between families, in which property and progeny are the main concern.'' - Gods in Everyman, Jean Shinoda Bolen, MD
How a man draws women to him, mainly because of his success, he feels entitled to seduce certain women because he is in a position of power. In today's society, it is a pattern that is repeated over and over again when a woman falls for a man in a powerful position and, especially, rich men who have established themselves. As a younger woman, I was very attracted to powerful men and was seriously seduced leading to marriage. Although I have no regrets, however, I do understand why some women would be attracted to such powerful men...''Power is an aphrodisiac!''
