Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of 2 Rockers Art Supply, the charming new shop just around the corner, owned by Tracy Boccini. It was a magical and deeply meaningful day for Tracy, whose dream of opening an art supply store in Hudson—home to so many artists—has finally come to life.
Tracy comes from a lineage where art is woven into the very fabric of family tradition. Both her great-grandfather and her grandfather were accomplished artists whose contributions have long enriched the art world. Her grandfather, the renowned Guido Nincheri, created the magnificent cycle of stained-glass windows in the Cathédrale de l’Assomption in Trois-Rivières—an extraordinary ensemble of approximately 125 windows that remains a landmark of his mastery.
Artist, entrepreneur, and warm-hearted visionary, Tracy brings both artistic insight and business acumen to this new venture. Throughout the day, friends and supporters stopped by to celebrate her accomplishment—one that not only reflects her heritage but also fulfills a long-held dream.
Now part of Hudson’s creative landscape, 2 Rockers Art Supply has joined the Hudson Hospitality Association, further embedding itself in the community. The grand opening was a beautiful success, and I am delighted to have this inspiring new shop just steps from my door—a place where tradition meets creativity, and where the spark of imagination begins.
