Art World of Dreams at Le Pub Kingfisher

I’m pleased to exhibit a selection of my works throughout the month of June at the Kingfisher Pub, a welcoming new space in Hudson. Led by the warm and gracious Team: Charlie, Darryl, Carlie and Mike, this inviting venue is a true meeting place where art and community naturally come together.

The pieces on display are unique in both form and process: photographs scanned and transferred onto canvas, then meticulously hand-finished with oil paint. Inspired by the Impressionists’ break from realism, this series invites viewers into a dreamscape—a fusion of imagery and color that transcends traditional photography. It is a world where imagination reigns and where our humanity finds harmony with the natural world.

This technique blends the timeless elegance of photography with the expressive freedom of painting, challenging the boundaries that have long separated these two disciplines.

The inspiration for this body of work comes from my travels across Europe—particularly Paris, Florence, and the shores of Lake Como—each place leaving its own poetic mark on the visual narratives I create.

I look forward to sharing this artistic journey with you, in a setting where art meets cuisine and dreams come to life.
