As 2025 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the many moments we have shared at the Kingfisher Pub, which first opened its doors in Hudson in May 2025. From the very beginning, it became a place where we felt instantly at home—a place where everyone knows your name and welcomes you with genuine warmth. Within those walls, friendships were nurtured, stories were shared, and memories were created, all thanks to the kind-hearted owners who care for their patrons as if they were family.
In a small village like Hudson, the Kingfisher Pub quickly became more than just a gathering place; it became our living room—a space to connect, to laugh, and to belong. Over time, we grew into a true family of friends, our lives gently intertwining. When one of us faces challenges, there is always someone ready to listen with compassion, to offer support, and to lend a helping hand when it is most needed.
As the New Year approaches, I feel deeply grateful for this circle of friends. To me, friendship is the foundation of a healthy and meaningful life. Moving to Hudson changed my life in many beautiful ways, and the Kingfisher Pub played a significant role in making this place feel like home. I am especially grateful to my sister, Lise, and to my partner, Sylvain, who has been an angel in my life since the day I arrived. Together, Sylvain and I have built lasting bonds with a family of friends who have enriched our lives beyond measure.
Happy New Year to all our family and friends. Let us step into the year ahead with love, joy, and purpose—embracing the beauty of this wonderful life we share. ✨
