Salon Véronique: 30 Years of Timeless Beauty in Hudson

For more than thirty years, Salon Véronique has shone in Hudson thanks to the passion and determination of its owner, Hélène Bédard. The story began in 1984, when Hélène was already working at the salon, then part of a group of several establishments. Today, Salon Véronique in Hudson is the last one to have preserved its charm and authenticity, sustained by Hélène’s unwavering commitment and her dedicated team.

Throughout her journey, Hélène has surrounded herself with loyal collaborators, creating what feels like a true family. Of course, there were more challenging times, when some, after years of training and experience at her side, chose to strike out on their own and open their own salons. Yet, these trials never diminished Hélène’s perseverance.

Her passion for beauty goes back to childhood, when she was already making her own creams and experimenting with makeup. For her, this profession goes far beyond business: it is first and foremost a calling, rooted in a deep respect for her clients. Each client is welcomed with genuine care and attention, whether a long-time regular or a new visitor. Hélène proudly recalls that among her most faithful clients is a 99-year-old lady whom she personally drives to and from every appointment, as well as another client aged 100. The salon has even welcomed three generations of clients—some who began visiting at the age of fourteen and who now come with their own children.

Perseverance and loyalty are values that define every aspect of Hélène’s life. Married for more than forty years, she has also shared her professional journey with employees who remained by her side for over two decades. She knows how challenging it is to build a strong team, since the success of a salon depends on fostering a positive and harmonious atmosphere. Over the years, about ten individuals have contributed to this family-like spirit, each leaving their mark on the history of Salon Véronique.

Today, after three decades marked by challenges and achievements, Hélène proudly celebrates Salon Véronique’s 30th anniversary. From November 25 to 30, the celebration will feature a week of festivities: prize draws, thirty gift bags valued at $150 or more, $30 gift cards for the first thirty clients, and a 30% discount on purchases of $100 and more. On November 25, a special reception will launch this major celebration—a true reflection of passion, resilience, and loyalty.
