I’m delighted to invite you to experience a selection from my “Paris Vintage” series at the Viva Vida Gallery in Pointe-Claire, alongside the inspiring works of other talented artists.
In this series, each photograph is carefully transferred onto small canvases and then enhanced with oil paint — a process that transforms each image into a one-of-a-kind work. The result is a unique fusion: the original photograph’s detail softened and enriched, the hues deepened, the canvas imbued with the tactile resonance of paint. Every piece carries its own character, born from this handcrafted, thoughtful process.
The exhibition opens November 29, 2025, and runs through January 18, 2026. I truly hope you’ll find a moment to visit — an opportune time to begin the holiday season immersed in art and community.
Art does more than fill a space; it reveals a part of who we are: our aesthetic sensibilities, our memories, our worldview. In living or working spaces, a painting can shape atmosphere, evoke emotion, and infuse meaning.
I look forward to sharing this journey with you, and celebrating the power of image, canvas, and light — in all its quiet magic.
