It is my sincere pleasure to introduce my friend Stephen Schettini, who will be offering special Yoga for the Mind sessions at Mūv Hudson Yoga.
Stephen spent eight years as a Buddhist monk, immersed in monastic life in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Switzerland. While at Rabten Choeling in Switzerland, he studied classical Tibetan and worked as a translator for Tibetan teachers before gradually moving away from a formal Buddhist identity. Together with his wife, Caroline Courey, he co-founded Quiet Mind Seminars.
Stephen is the author of The Novice: How I Became a Buddhist Monk, Why I Quit and What I Learned, along with It Begins with Silence, a practical guide to meditation. He’s also a TEDx speaker; in his talk “Finding Your Inner Monk” at TEDxAlexanderPark, he draws on personal experience to explore suffering, identity, and mindfulness.
If you are seeking deeper self-understanding or wishing to live with more purpose, Yoga for the Mind can become a powerful path toward inner calm and meaningful growth.
